I suggest a private transfer by car or minivan to Positano because it’s more comfortable than the bus or boat and it’s quicker, because at the bus stop and the pier there a many people and sometimes you need to wait a long time.

By car:

For those coming from Rome follow the sings for Naples. On the A3 Naples-Salerno-Reggio Calabria take the exit “Castellammare Di Stabia” and follow the indications for Sorrento and then for Positano. On arrival at Positano follow the signs for the center taking the main one way road, Via Pasitea. After about 1 km you will come across numerous garage parking facilities. We recommend Parking Macri that you will find on the right, straight after Parking Anna. From the parking proceed by foot for about 50 meters in order to reach Fornillo. Down along the Fornillo footpath you will B&B Pensione Casa Guadagno. 

For those coming from Reggio Calabria the recommended exit is Salerno center-Amalfi coast, in order to then take the Amalfi road 163. Another alternative route is to follow the signs to Naples and take the exit at “Castellammare Di Stabia” and follow the indications for Sorrento and then for Positano. On arrival at Positano follow the signs for the center taking the main one way road, Via Pasitea. After about 1 km you will come across numerous garage parking facilities. By Plane:

 
From Capodichino Airport (Naples) take the bus that goes to Naples Central Station. From the station take the “Circumvesuviana” until your reach Sorrento, and then take the “Sita Bus” to Positano. The nearest bus stop in order to reach our B&B is “Positano Chiesa Nuova”.
 
An alternative to the “Circumvesuviana” is the Bus “Curreri” that links the Airport with the town of Sorrento. From Sorrento it is possible to reach Positano with “Sita Bus”. The nearest bus stop in order to reach our B&B is “Positano Chiesa Nuova”.
 
From the bus stop “Positano Chiesa Nuova” you can either take a local bus, “Interno Positano” and get off at the bus stop ” Grotta di Fornillo”, or go by foot down the main one way street, via Pasitea for about 1 km till you reach via Fornillo. Down along the Fornillo footpath you will find the B&B Pensione Casa Guadagno.

From Salerno station take the “Sita Bus” till you arrive at Amalfi, and then change taking the “Sita Bus “that links up Amalfi to Positano. The nearest bus stop in order to reach our B&B is “Positano Chiesa Nuova”.

By Boat:

During the summer season from Naples pier “Beverello” and from Salerno pier “Manfredi” or “Piazza della Concordia” there are boats that run directly to Positano. From Positano pier you will need to go by foot along the pedestrianized street till you arrive to “Piazza dei Mulini” , where you may take the ” Internal Positano ” bus getting off at the bus stop “Grotta di Fornillo” , or you can go by foot for about 1 km along the Via Pasitea, always in the direction against that of the traffic till you arrive at via Fornillo. Down along the Fornillo footpath you will find the B&B Pensione Casa Guadagno.
